Northlake Village Cooperative residents are considered members of the community cooperative. Each resident pays a membership fee (similar to a refundable deposit) upon moving into the community. A member has the same rights as many homeowners but the benefits are similar to a condo association. Our credit and criminal background check fee is $20 (similar to an apartment application fee). Your gas heat is included in your monthly fee.
Northlake Village Cooperative has been designed to provide exceptional housing at a moderate cost, offering spacious one and two bedroom Apartments and generous three and four bedroom Townhomes. These housing options have been designed to provide gracious living with a monthly carrying charge that is more affordable then a single family home. Northlake Village is a complete community concept encompassing all the advantages of home ownership with shared responsibility. Additional benefits to a Cooperative Living that are included in the monthly carrying charges are: gas used for heating, cooking, hot water and dryer hook-ups, water and sewage charges, landscaping and snow removal and reasonable maintenance for specific items on individual units. A large versatile community building in the center of the beautifully landscaped grounds, two playgrounds and a 2-acre park are available for the use and enjoyment of the Members of Northlake Village.
